In this episode, we have unlikely heroes, likely villains, and a lot of tense action. Some of Silver’s debts come due, Man starts his recovery, Susan learns how bodies are disposed of at the Gold Mine (and also that his systems don’t always agree with brainers). Several plots are hatched, and many wheels begin to turn.
We discuss how gamers grow and change over time, including what motivates them. We cover our own experiences, and how coming from traditional versus indie role-playing games changes the course of players’ evolution (but often not where they end up, given enough time).
In this episode we get a flashback to Lively, Hugo, and Grace’s morning together before she left for Lamprey’s, Mr. Silver makes a deal with Lively, Grace has her first meeting with Lamprey since her imprisonment, Susan deals with the Twygers, Man convinces Mr. Silver to let him wrestle (for show, of course), evidently, someone gives Mr. Silver a motive, and – as it turns out – Man is very, very bad at staged combat.

In which we gush about one of the best comics currently in print, and also talk abut a bunch of other stuff. This was also the first episode (chronologically) for friend-of-the-cast Elle, who will be joining us periodically.
Note: Caitlin mentions drawing pictures of the AW New Sodom cast; we’ll post them as soon as they’re done.
